What to Expect
Prior to Inspection
Customer Requirements
In order to expedite the inspection process, Aquatrace requires that all covers be removed and all swimming pools and spas be clean and balanced.
Aquatrace also requests that the Client have water levels at the normal operating level for the systems to be properly inspected along with the inspection areas free from any obstructions that may hinder access.
Inspection Day
Upon Arrival
On the day of your Swimming Pool or Spa Leak Detection Service Appointment, an Aquatrace Certified Technician will arrive at the scheduled time and greet you at your door.
After an initial discussion and overview of your water loss scenario, the technician will visit the service area and observe any obvious issues as well as familiarize themselves with your system’s unique operation and design.
Once the required information has been gathered by the technician, testing can begin. Due to the varying design and layout options of all swimming pool and spa systems, the order and procedures for testing may vary.
The Findings
Not All Leak Detection Companies Are Created Equal
Once the Aquatrace Technician has completed their inspection and identified the problem, you will be informed of the results. A digital copy of the findings report will be emailed to you as well.
Should these findings present a minor defect that a simple repair can resolve, Aquatrace will provide superficial epoxy and/or vinyl repairs as needed. These minor repairs are included with the original service fee. Per the conditions of these provided repairs, certain warranties may be requested.
In the event that a major repair is needed, Aquatrace will provide consultation and recommendations to help you find and secure the most cost effective repair solution.
Inspection Closeout
Payment and Follow Up
