Aquatrace visits your site to examine your swimming pool and diagnose where any leaks may exist. We use state of the art electronic equipment to pinpoint the exact location of where the problem is and provide recommendations for repair.
-
Yes and no.
Aquatrace can provide an estimate to repair the problem at the customer’s request. However, if the client is aware of the original pool contractor, Aquatrace recommends that the repair be coordinated with the original contractor. If the original contractor is unknown or unavailable, or the client would rather have Aquatrace perform the repair instead, then we can provide an estimate based on the needs of the repair.

Not all water loss is a sign of a leak. Weather conditions as well as activities play a major role in sustaining water levels. It’s not at all uncommon, and actually, it should be expected, that your pool WILL lose some water to evaporation, some to splash out, and some to backwashing your filter. However, if you routinely need to add more than two inches of water to your pool per week, you may have a leak. Anything less can be attributed to normal everyday use. If you still feel a concern that you may have an issue, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
-
Due to the nature of activity and wear and tear that swimming pools endure, the only guarantee that Aquatrace can provide is the following…
When we arrive at your swimming pool to provide the leak detection service, IF a leak is present in your system, we WILL find it.
Once we leave the site, any subsequent leaks that may arise are not the responsibility of Aquatrace. Unfortunately, damage does occur to all components of swimming pool systems. Due to the numerous parts of an operational swimming pool system, Aquatrace can only guarantee the discovery of existing leaks while on site providing the diagnosis. Any leaks that arise after our site visit are not covered under the original agreement.
-
Our rates vary based on the type of swimming pool that you have. In order for us to give you the most accurate quote, a phone consultation is required.
-
Ultimately, only you can make that decision.
Over time, any leak has the potential to cause the following…
-
Damage the floor system of your pool
-
Erode the earth around your pool and deck
-
Require constant adding of water
-
Require constant adding of chemicals
Depending on the severity of the leak, this can cost anywhere from a few dollars to even thousands for a repair. It is up to the client to decide whether or not the low price of the leak detection service is economical.
